AletheiaAI is operated by BERRIES FINANCIAL ADVISORY SERVICES, registered in India at Flat 16, Malad Satikar CHS Ltd, Near Police Station, Malad West, Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra — 400064. We are the data fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

• Account data: email address, sign-in timestamps.
• Diagnostic intake: company name, industry, sector, stage, one-liner, problem, ideal customer profile, market size, traction metrics, team composition.
• Pitch deck: the PDF you upload, retained for the active life of your account.
• Payment metadata: Razorpay payment ID, order ID, amount, status. We never receive or store your card details.
• Referral data: the email of any founder you invite via the Founder Pact, and their progress through the funnel.
• Usage data: which pages you visit, which reports you generated, basic analytics.

To deliver the service you signed up for — score your startup, critique your deck, match you with funds, take payment, attribute referrals. That is the only purpose. We do not profile, advertise to, or sell information about you.

• Convex (US/EU) — application database and backend.
• Anthropic (US) — the AI model that powers the Teardown and Matches. Data is sent on a per-request basis. Anthropic does not train on data submitted via their API and observes a zero-data-retention policy on this traffic.
• Razorpay (India) — payment processing.
• Vercel (US) — website hosting.

We do not share your data with anyone else.

Your score and report are private by default. If you turn on share mode (creating a public link in your dashboard), the score is anonymized to sector and stage on our leaderboard. Your name, your company, and your deck are never displayed publicly without your explicit action.

Active accounts: as long as the account exists, plus 18 months after the last sign-in. Closed accounts: deleted within 30 days of closure request, except for payment records which are retained for 7 years to comply with Indian tax law.

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (subject to the tax-record exception above).
• Withdraw consent for processing at any time.
• Nominate someone to exercise your rights on your behalf.

We use a single session cookie for authentication. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or session-replay tools.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access is restricted to engineers actively maintaining the service. We will notify affected users within 72 hours of any confirmed data breach.

As required by Indian IT Rules 2011 and the DPDP Act, our Grievance Officer is Amit Tyagi, reachable at amit@berriesadvisory.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve within 15 days.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be emailed to your registered address. Minor edits (clarification, typo) will be reflected in the “Last revised” date above.
