Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Our view on refunds.
We want you to pay only for what you use. If Aletheia didn’t deliver the service you paid for, we refund. If you had buyer’s remorse but kept the access active, we don’t. The rules below are how we draw that line — separately for founders, investors, and Raise Ready engagements.
Founders — Teardown pass — the 7-day refund window.
You can request a refund within 7 days of purchase. The amount depends on what you used.
- Zero Teardowns used: full refund of the amount paid.
- One or more Teardowns used: pro-rata refund. We deduct ₹999 (the top-up rate) for every block of 3 Teardowns consumed, plus an 18% GST adjustment. Refund equals the remainder.
- After 7 days: no refund, regardless of usage. The pass remains active for the full 30-day window.
Founders — Teardown top-ups.
A ₹999 top-up gives you 3 additional Teardowns. Top-ups are fully refundable for 7 days if all 3 Teardowns are unused. Non-refundable once any of the 3 has been consumed.
Founders — referral credits.
Free top-ups earned through the Founder Pact are non-refundable. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
If a founder you referred refunds their pass within their own 7-day window, the credit you earned for that referral is clawed back automatically. If you have already used the credit, the next credit you earn will be applied to the balance.
Founders — Raise Ready engagement.
Raise Ready is a bespoke engagement. Refund terms are as follows:
- Before engagement begins: full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of payment and before we have sent any deliverables or held any working sessions.
- After engagement begins: pro-rata refund based on the proportion of the engagement not yet delivered, at our sole reasonable assessment of completion.
- After all deliverables are sent: no refund. The engagement is considered complete when the final report and written output have been delivered to your registered email address.

Investors — paid plans.
Investor plans (Angel, Syndicate Lead, Capital OS) are billed at the point of purchase and do not auto-renew. You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not used any paid features (unlimited verdicts, calibration exports, thesis customisation) during that period. No refund is available after 7 days or after any paid feature has been used.
Cancellation.
Founder passes and investor plans do not auto-renew. When the access window ends, paid features simply lock. You will not be charged again unless you manually purchase another pass or plan.
Raise Ready engagements can be paused (by mutual agreement) but not cancelled mid-stream without the refund terms above applying. There is no subscription to cancel.
How to request a refund.
- Email [email protected] from your registered email address.
- Include your Razorpay payment ID (in your confirmation email and your dashboard’s Billing section), or your Raise Ready engagement reference.
- State the reason. We don’t need a long explanation.
We acknowledge within 1 business day. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Razorpay’s settlement timing is outside our control.
Disputes.
If you disagree with a refund decision, write to us within 30 days. We respond within 7 business days. Unresolved disputes fall under the jurisdiction stated in our Terms.
